On October 30th 1952, arctic cold air moved in over Central Alabama providing record temperatures in four different locations across Central Alabama. Records set were Anniston with 22 degrees, Tuscaloosa with 23 degrees, Montgomery with 26 degrees, and Birmingham with 28 degrees.
