As a quick reference product, the NWS in Birmingham issues Graphicasts. Usually these are static images, such as in the first picture below. In the tab "NEAR TERM", we give you a graphical depiction of what we expect over the next 3 to 6 hours. Sometimes, we issue other types of graphicasts, which would be labeled with their own tab, such as TROPICAL or RADAR, which you could click on to view. On average, graphicasts are updated hourly, if there is weather activity approaching or already in central Alabama.
