There was a significant outbreak of severe weather across north and central Alabama on Palm Sunday, March 27, 1994. The severe weather began in the morning around 9 am CST and continued throughout the day and into the nighttime hours. The weather affected Alabama in waves with four waves of weather moving through the state.
