Pictures of Maylene Tornado on March 25, 2010

On March 25, 2010, a mini-supercell thunderstorms produced a tornado with winds of 90 mph, or an EF-1 on the Enhanced Fujita scale.  This tornado touched down in Maylene and travelled 2.75 miles into Alabaster.  Along the path, it caused roof damage and snapped and uprooted trees, but thankfully, no one was injured.  Most images below were taken by Jimmy Shaffer of Maylene, AL.
