Spotter Appreciation Day 2006

The National Weather Service in Amarillo would like to thank all of our spotters and cooperative observers. You all provide accurate and timely information that allows us to carry out the mission of the Weather Service which is to protect life and property. We hope you enjoyed this years spotter appreciation day!

Also, we would like to offer a big thank you to Juannah and Andy Brice. These wonderful people are the chefs behind the amazing brisket, beans, and potato salad we all enjoyed on Saturday.

Finally, we would also like to thank a few of the Wal Marts of Amarillo and Canyon for genously donating most of the food and supplies needed for this years Spotter Appreciation Day.
