The Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Services program provides for the local implemenation of advanced NWS River Forecast System (NWSRFS) river forecasting science procedures. These procedures account for the hydrologic characteristics of each local river watershed and each tributary which will greatly increase forecast accuracy.
