The New Mexico Drought of 2012:
How did we get here, and what does the future hold?

 

The New Mexico Drought Task Force, together with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Climate Assessment for the Southwest, and New Mexico State University, will host a free dial-in webinar to discuss the 2012 New Mexico drought and the upcoming Monsoon season on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 1:30 pm MDT. 

The purpose of this webinar is to review the development of the drought  conditions over the past 24 months, review current conditions, provide  the latest understanding of the 2012 monsoon development, and review the  climatic outlooks for the 2012 fall and early winter. 

Participation is encouraged and the webinar will include a discussion  session encouraging the public to ask questions of these drought experts.
