October 2008 Highlights
- We are continually updating our Hurricane Ike page where you can find satellite images
and animations, dramatic before and after photo imagery,
radar loops, damage survey photos from the
Bolivar Peninsula and other locations, and National Weather Service products from our office and the
National Hurricane Center.
- The September 2008 Tropical Weather Summary is now available from the
National Hurricane Center. Tropical cyclone activity for the month was near normal.
- October climate normals, means and extremes are available for Houston,
Galveston and College Station.
- The Top Ten wettest, driest, warmest, and coolest Octobers are available for
